How to Get a Chocobo
Gamers can’t start customizing their mounts if they don’t have one yet. That is why players should learn how to acquire a Chocobo for their FFXIV accounts, and the process is not that complicated. Getting a feathery steed won’t cost any Gil, but it will require some other type of currency.
After reaching level 20, Warriors of Light are asked to join one of the three active Grand Companies situated in the significant city-states in Eorzea. After joining one, players are given the “My Little Chocobo” quest from one of the officers in their company’s home state. The task will require gamers to exchange a token and some Company seals to obtain the Chocobo. After doing so, the players will have their mount.
How to Change Chocobo Color
After acquiring their very own Chocobo, players can now start the process of coloring their trusty steed. Barding and customizing mounts are one of the many features available to gamers. By default, the color of the feathery support in Desert Yellow. Changing their color will require time, effort, and a bit of luck.
Besides having the mount itself, gamers need to own a stable to station the Chocobo, which will require a residential property. A Stable can be purchased from NPCs or acquired from a Free Company and can then be installed in any owned lot. The structure is quite large and will need sufficient in the property’s garden.
To change the color of the Chocobo, players need to stabilize their mount and choose the “Tend to My Chocobo” option. This selection will allow riders to feed snacks to their trusty companions. During this 6-hour process, the Chocobo will change their color depending on the type of fruit or snack they are given. Each feed will have a corresponding RGB value, which will dictate the hue of the mount.
